I first came to faith from a non-Christian family when I was 10. I had this urge to pray out of nowhere, and after research, became a Christian. I'm glad God is always there for me, he is very patient with me, always loves me, ready to redirect me, all my strength and hope is in the Lord. I thank you Lord for your unconditional love even when I don't understand you, you always understand me and are there for me. (MORE)

I think one of my favorite descriptions of Christ is the Healer or the Prince of Peace. I have come to find immense peace by looking to Christ for an example! I know He lives and helps me every day. I feel it in my life and I see miracles every day when I ask for eyes to see as Christ would. I feel so blessed to know that I have Christ as my rock and my anchor when the storms of life come in! Reach out to Him- I know He will help you today too!

I was lost. I did not understand why I was here. I did not know where to go or what to do. I felt alone, abandoned, and misunderstood. It left me to be sad, depressed, and suicidal. I was young. I was a drug addict. I loved to numb my pain and trauma. I loved to have fun. It made me temporarily happy. I was quite busy most of the time. I was almost always high. It was on June 28, 1986, that I received the most meaningful and valuable act of love and compassion anyone has ever shown me in my life. I’d suffered a miscarriage, and I was devastated. Inconsolable. Totally destroyed. My friend Janya came over to my house, kicked her shoes off, climbed up in my bed with me, wrapped her arms around me, and just held me while I cried. And cried. And cried. I’ll never forget that.

On the evening of Friday 18 June 2021, I got a phone call that my sister had died. On Saturday I started to listen to worship music mostly to hallelujah from the valley and I started to thank God. On the first day I thanked him that he will help me get through this difficult time…(MORE)

He has been with me since I was a young girl, sometimes I didn't recognize it at the time but as I look back, He was aware of my many hardships. After being diagnosed with Stage Four Cancer in September 2020, I now live with my daughter & husband in Costa Mesa, California where I got into The City of Hope for medical treatment. So far I’ve not been in pain and qualified for Patient assistance for my Chemo medication. I have accomplished all of this with my faith in God.
