I've been a Christian for many years, but I recently started going to a new church. My first Sunday there, Nov. 14,2021, the Pastor gave an altar call for salvation or prayer. I had total reverse shoulder replacement (right) surgery on Sept 1, 2021, and I had sustained a hairline fracture in one of the bones at physical therapy, so that was put on hold. I also had a painful, burning spot under my incision that hurt with even clothes rubbing it. I could only move my arm about 3 inches forward and to the right, but toward the back, not at all. I stood and answered the altar call.
Also, after surgery, my lymphedema flared up in my feet and lower legs and I was reduced to wearing oversized slippers everywhere. I spoke to Pastor and told him my needs. I said but this spot, indicating the spot, is excruciating. Others came to pray with us and the pastor anointed me and placed his hand on my shoulder with his thumb on the spot. As we prayed, I felt the Holy Spirit rush through me. After prayer, returning to my pew, I realized that the spot wasn't burning. Back in my pew, I touched in and tears ran down my face.
As soon as I could, I stood before the church and I testified. I said "Praise the Lord!" and I raised my right arm forward and upward to about a 90% angle and praised the Lord properly. I continued while touching the spot with my left hand. "I have absolutely no pain of any kind under my incision. The Lord healed the spot before I returned to this pew. “Thank you Jesus for healing."
God is so good to me and is continuing to heal my fracture. My doctor has me in therapy for my lymphedema and it's improving, and I've been cleared to begin physical therapy on my shoulder. Halleluiah, there is healing power in the Blood of Jesus. Praise His name! I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me. Christ is my refuge.
