On the day my mother attempted suicide, there isn't any way I can describe the darkness I felt. Then, that night, a random stranger direct messaged me on Instagram. They sent this verse without saying anything else:

"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." 1 Co 13:10.

The peace I felt reading this can't be described. My mother was in a coma for about two days and had a low chance of survival. But she did survive, and God gave us incredible strength to take care of her after what happened.

He was leading the way. I couldn't have made it through this period without him.
